Cairns Security Doors is a family owned business trading under ABN 37 916 171 681, based at Kewarra Beach QLD 4879. We are a service-area business and do not operate a showroom, so we publish no street address. This policy covers this website. It does not cover what happens after we meet you at your house, which is ordinary business record keeping.
There is no login, no shopping cart and no session on this site, so nothing needs a cookie to work. We set none. If we turn on Google Analytics, that service sets its own cookies to tell repeat visits apart, and this page will say so before it happens.
No analytics or advertising script currently loads on this site at all. When we do add Google Analytics, it will record the page addresses you visit and which links you click, including when you tap a phone number or send the quote form. Those records carry the page address and the link address only. We never put your name, phone number or email into an analytics event.
The form asks for your name, phone number, email address, suburb and the service you need. A job description and a preferred contact time are optional. It also records which page you sent it from, and carries a hidden field that only automated spam fills in. If that hidden field is filled, the message is silently discarded and nothing is sent to anyone.
Three parties, and no others. Us, because we are the ones quoting the job. Resend, the service that delivers the email, which sends it from our agency's sending domain with your address set as the reply-to so we answer you directly. And Vercel, which hosts the site the form is submitted to. We do not sell, rent or share enquiry details with anyone else, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
The website itself keeps nothing. There is no customer database behind this site and no copy of your enquiry is stored on it. Your message exists as an email in our inbox, and it stays there as long as we keep our business correspondence.
When you submit the form, the server reads the IP address the request came from and holds it in memory for ten minutes. It is used for one thing: stopping the same source from flooding the form. It is never written to a file, never included in the email, and never sent to an analytics service. After ten minutes it is gone.
If the form fails to send, the server reports the failure to an error monitoring service so we can find out why a lead did not reach us. That report contains the technical error only. It never contains your name, phone number, email address or your message.
The fonts on this site are served from this site. They are downloaded once when the site is built rather than fetched from Google while you read, so browsing here does not tell Google anything about you. There is no embedded map, no video player and no social media widget on any page. The only links that leave this site go to the QBCC licence register and to ABN Lookup, so you can check our credentials on the source rather than take our word for it.
The site is served over HTTPS only. The form checks that submissions come from this site, limits how often it will accept them, and validates every field on the server rather than trusting the browser. Browser permissions for the camera, microphone and location are switched off site-wide, because nothing here needs them.
